We have so much fun planned from 5pm Friday thru Noon, Sunday including several fun projects, lots of great food,snacks and drinks, lounging, connecting, laughing, sharing, enjoying the estate and a few other surprises.

FAQ'S

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Very Little!  We'll have nearly everything you need.  Food, drinks and snacks  for the weekend are provided. Beds all have fresh linens and blankets.  A casual outfit or two, comfy pajamas and a few toiletries.  There is even body wash & shampoo in all bathrooms!

CAN I BRING MY FAVORITE BEVERAGES?

Sure! We’ll have coffee, water, adult beverages and more, but if you have a favorite, feel free to bring it with you.

IS THERE WI-FI?

The location is rural so connections could be spotty but we're here to "disconnect" and relax so that's not all bad.

I'M ATTENDING WITH A FRIEND(S). WILL WE BE ROOMMATES?

We'll do our best to accommodate all requests.  Requests are honored on a first come, first served basis. Rooms have a combination of bed layouts so room assignments will depend on time of reservation, how many are traveling together, sleeping preferences, etc.   

 

CAN I GET A REFUND IF SOMETHING CHANGES?

If you cancel before Oct 1, you will receive a refund for the amount you paid minus your deposit. The $150 deposit is non refundable, however it is transferable through Oct 1 should you find someone during that time to take your place. If we have a waiting list, we will contact the next person on the list for you. We are unable to offer a refund for last minute cancellations considered an "Act of God" including but not limited to severe weather or illness.

WHAT IS THE OUTDOOR AREA LIKE?

The Lake house offers lots of beautiful and peaceful outdoor spaces including a 2 level 3,000 sf deck with plenty of seating and lake views, a fire pit with seating, hammocks, and a beach with beach chairs.  It's the perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee, take a stroll around the property, connect with God's beauty, and enjoy great conversations or evening cocktails.

WHAT'S BEHIND THE NAME... INSPIRE?

After making the decision to hold our first craft camp in 2018, I debated on a name for days/weeks.  INSPIRE was the first thing that came to mind but I dismissed it and kept thinking and praying about it and finally over analyzing like I do so well.  I took a step back and asked myself "Why are you doing this?  What do you want to accomplish through this?" Then, I felt emotional and overwhelmed. These memories came gushing in. 
First, I thought of the many years that I had struggled with insecurities, feelings of being "less than", and questioning whether I had any gifts or talents to offer. 
Then I thought about how God had stirred my heart twenty some years ago (any many times since) when he placed me in a career where the core of my job focused on inspiring, encouraging and motivating others. At the time, it almost seemed like a joke.  God has a great sense of humor.  A Funny thing happened.  Daily, I had interactions with people who shared their stories, their insecurities, their prayers and dreams with me; and as they shared, I felt uncontrollably compelled to inspire and encourage them; like I couldn't hold back! I wanted them to know they were valued, had gifts and could accomplish anything through faith. I was feeling like maybe I had been placed in their life for a reason but in fact, it was the other way around.  I was inspired by their stories and dreams. I was inspired when they overcame a hurdle, stood a little taller or accomplished something that made their eyes light up.  Whoa, God?!  Yep, that's how he works. Isn't it Awesome! 
SO, after all the deep thinking about What to call the craft camp -- It was finally clear that it couldn't be any other name but INSPIRE.  I believe that's one of the reason's we're all here... to lift up, encourage, give hope, and Inspire one another - emotionally, physically, spiritually and even creatively! 
You are special - Yes you are!  And you have talents you haven't even discovered yet - Yes, you do!!
